Buying property in Greece
For buyers who have chosen a property in Greece, or want to find one, and need someone to coordinate the purchase with local professionals.

Our scope in Greece
In Greece we focus on property selection and coordinating the purchase through local lawyers, notaries and engineers. Mortgage assistance in Greece isn't part of the standard scope. If you're planning to borrow, we'll discuss what's possible individually.
The questions we hear most
- What do I need to buy property in Greece?
- Usually a Greek tax number (AFM), a bank account for payments, and a lawyer to carry out the checks. The sale is executed before a notary. Your lawyer confirms the exact requirements for your case.
- What is checked before purchase?
- The lawyer checks title and history at the land registry and cadastre, and any encumbrances. An engineer checks the building against its permits. We coordinate timings and pass your questions to them.
- I've found a property listed by another agency. Can you help?
- Yes. Send us the link. We'll arrange contact with the agency and the checks before you commit.
- Do I need to travel to Greece?
- A viewing in person is strongly recommended. Signing can be done in person or through a representative under power of attorney, if your lawyer confirms that suits the transaction.
What we coordinate
- A conversation about purpose, budget and area
